What is the ‘Juntos Avanzamos’ Designation?
“Juntos Avanzamos” is Spanish for “Together We Advance.” The designation is for credit unions that aim to help Spanish-speaking people learn the U.S. financial system, point them toward financial institutions they can trust, and provide financial assistance regardless of citizenship status.
How Achieva is Helping Underrepresented Communities
Our ITIN Lending Program provides underrepresented communities with the tools they needed for their financial goals, whether it included purchasing a home, buying a car, or building credit. The “Together We Advance” designation furthers those goals that we’re committed to serving all Spanish-speaking people, in addition to other underrepresented groups.
This is the latest in a string of offerings Achieva has created to help members often overlooked by other financial institutions. In addition to expanding loan options, Achieva offers free financial education workshops and resources to help community members better understand their financial options and make informed decisions that will positively impact their financial futures.
