Achieva Joins the Cereal for Summer Program

1 in 4 children face hunger every day across Tampa Bay. During summer break, those children lose access to the free lunch programs provided at their schools.

Achieva Credit Union has partnered with 10 Tampa Bay, Feeding Tampa Bay, and other local food banks to provide meals to those in need. Drop off donations of cereal, cereal bars, and oatmeal to any Achieva branch location from now to April 30, 2024.

How the Cereal for Summer works

Access to consistent and healthy foods like cereal can change a child’s day. The Cereal for Summer  program takes your donations and distributes them to children across the Tampa Bay area. With your help, they will receive the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and play!

Collection dates: April 1 – April 30

All Achieva Credit Union branches will collect donations from April 1 to April 30, 2024.

Online donations

Collecting donations online through a Cereal for Summer virtual food drive allows Feeding Tampa Bay to maximize the dollars raised to provide more meals to more children. Funds also allow us to purchase dairy products to accompany the healthy breakfasts. You can donate online to Feeding Tampa Bay here.
