Before our Paw Park came to fruition, we had no idea the impact it would have on the community. While many dog owners have expressed gratitude for the park, we are just happy to be able to serve our community in this way; it’s just the Achieva way.
Because the Paw Park is an ongoing project for us, we are always looking for ways to improve it for the dogs and their owners. While the park has lots of space for pups to run around, there are currently no obstacles for the dogs to play with and no benches for pet owners to sit at while their dogs are playing. This is where Boy Scout Brandon Galley came in and graciously volunteered to take on the project as a community service project to reach his final rank as an Eagle Scout!
He and his troop have volunteered to build four benches, two dog weaves and two hills with tunnels going through. Our community pups will be so excited to have new obstacles to take on! This will make a huge difference for those who regularly use the Paw Park and hopefully attract new folks and their furry friends!
We are so thankful to Brandon and Beneful’s Dream Dog Park Project and can’t wait to see the fantastic additions they will bring to the Achieva Paw Park! We can’t wait to make the Achieva Paw Park a #DreamDogPark for the community! Stay tuned!
