Certainly, 2017 wouldn’t make headlines if it didn’t have some exciting news. Do you know a high school senior graduating this year? Or perhaps you’re the one currently enrolled in a college or trade school. If you’ve answered yes to either one of these questions, then you’re going to want to check out this article. That’s because our active Achieva Credit Union members, with good standings on their accounts, have the chance to enter two unique scholarship competitions. Well, without further ado, let’s hop right in and discuss more details.
What do the awards consist of?
The first one, called the Achieva Credit Union Scholarship, is for $1,000. The second, labeled the Hugh “Max” Kriever Scholarship is for a larger amount of $2,500. Regardless, winning either of these scholarship competitions will help greatly with college tuition. Imagine all of the textbooks or school supplies you can buy with that! Impressive to say the least.
Undoubtedly, having the honor to provide these scholarship competitions comes with great hope. Our youth is also our future. We wanted to give a chance to make educating them a little easier. Applying for the scholarship is easy.
Application depends on which of our two scholarship competitions you are entering. Nevertheless, the process is easy. Keep in mind that you can enter into both, as long as you qualify for the specifications listed. Simply mail your submissions to the specified address and include all of the requested documentation. Additionally, there are creative prompt questions with the option to submit an essay or video with your answer. It’s an extremely interactive, and fun, way to fill out the scholarship applications.
Furthermore, it is requested that each applicant complete the application in its entirety. They must also return all items in a single package with no staples, binders or other adhesives. Submissions must be received in an Achieva Credit Union branch, or postmarked by mail by April 15, 2017.
