The path to higher education is full of promise, but let’s be honest, it can also be expensive. Whether you’re planning to attend a four-year university, a community college, or a technical school, every bit of financial support helps. That’s why Achieva is proud to announce our annual scholarship program. This year, we are offering 28 scholarship awards totaling $87,000 to students who are ready to take the next step in their educational journey.
Achieva’s Support of Education
At Achieva Credit Union, we understand that investing in education is investing in our community’s future. We’ve seen firsthand how a little extra financial support can remove barriers and open doors for driven and talented students. These scholarships aren’t just about the financial award; they are about believing in potential and giving students the resources they need to succeed.
Education comes in many forms, and we celebrate all pathways to success. Whether you’re pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, training to become a skilled electrician, studying nursing, or learning a trade that will lead to a fulfilling career and a prosperous future, Achieva’s scholarship program can help you.
What Makes the Achieva Foundation Scholarship Different
Unlike many scholarship programs that focus solely on traditional four-year colleges and universities, Achieva scholarships are available for students attending technical schools, vocational programs, and community colleges. We recognize that higher education looks different for everyone, and all paths deserve support.
With 28 scholarships available and $87,000 in total funding, these awards can make a meaningful difference in your educational expenses. Whether it covers textbooks, tuition, housing, or other educational costs, this financial support can ease the burden and allow you to focus on what matters most – your studies.
Who Should Apply?
To participate, the applicant must be an active Achieva Credit Union member or family member in good standing and meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior, OR
- Currently enrolled in college or technical school in either an accredited two-year program leading to a four-year undergrad degree, OR an accredited two-year degree program.
You don’t need to have a perfect GPA or come from a specific background. We value determination, character, and the drive to succeed just as much as academic performance.

Tips for a Strong Application
Start Early: Don’t wait until the last minute! Give yourself plenty of time to gather your thoughts and then start writing your responses, giving yourself the time you need to carefully review your answers.
Be Authentic: Share your genuine story. What drives you? Have you overcome obstacles? Talk intuitively about your goals and how you plan to achieve them. Authenticity resonates more than trying to write what you think we want to hear.
Proofread: Simple spelling and grammar errors can distract from your message. Have someone review your application before submitting.
Show Your Passion: Help us understand why your chosen field matters to you and how you plan to use your education.
